Hammer On 2

Animated Hammer On 2 tab by ActionTab on guitar. So easy you'll be playing in minutes.

This exercise is from the Core Skills section on Hammer Ons.

Now let's hammer on 2 notes together. Here we quickly fingerpick 2 notes together and then hammer on 2 frets higher with the 3rd finger.

To do this you will probably need to adjust the angle of your hand so that your 3rd finger can hammer down onto both strings together from a shallower angle. This will make the 'double hammer' easier and enable you to get the hammers sounding clean and with fewer mistakes.

Hammering notes together like this is very common in many styles of lead and rhythm guitar.

The notes are: E and A - then hammering F# and B.
