Harmonics 13

Animated Harmonics 13 tab by ActionTab on guitar. So easy you'll be playing in minutes.

This riff is from the Core skills section on Harmonics.

Here we do a straightforward rock riff using simple Low E and Bb powerchords. We incorporate a pleasant harmonic stab at the 12th fretwire over the D G & B strings.

Keep the harmonics ringing out as you proceed to go into the slide again. Just be careful not to accidentally brush the strings that are still ringing out those harmonics as you do the slide.

You can use harmonics in a variety of ways - using them in riffs like this can add an extra dimension to your music. Don't forget you can use them to construct melodies and pleasant effects. They are significantly different in sound to regular notes and this means you can add a lot more variety into otherwise standard chord progressions, riffs and solos.

Riffs like this can be fun to loop and try out your own solo ideas with - remember it's important to create, not just copy!
