Scales across strings 2

Animated Scales across strings 2 tab by ActionTab on guitar. So easy you'll be playing in minutes.

This ActionTab is from the Fundamentals section. Following from the previous exercise on playing across strings here we look at the C chromatic scale.

Again, we play it along the A string first from frets 3 - 15, then play the exact same notes across the strings.

Notice that this time, we switch to the B string after playing the 3rd fret of the G string. This is because the G string is unique - it tunes across to the B string at the 4th fret rather than the 5th fret like all the other strings do!

This is a good practice for beginners learning to get each finger used to playing notes. Concentrate on getting regular timing between playing each note. It is important to get your fingers used to switching across strings without missing a beat!
