Beginner Chord Slide 4

Animated Beginner Chord Slide 4 tab by ActionTab on guitar. So easy you'll be playing in minutes.

Slides can add a little 'something' to your chord progressions. Here we slide through a simple chord progression:

A5* - slide to C5 - Slide to D5 - Slide to G5 - Slide to A5 - Slide to C5 - Slide to A5 (repeat)

Using slides between your chords like this is a very common guitar technique. The good news is that it's very easy to learn! Simply keep the pressure down on the chord notes at all times while playing. So, as you move to the next chord, you will naturally cause the slide effect!

This works particularly well with powerchords, because the chord shapes are all the same, so your fingers don't need to be removed from the strings at any stage.

Practice until you can get up to the same pace as the normal speed audio without gaps in your playing.

* The number 5 is placed beside a chord as a quick way of saying 'powerchord'
