Harmonics 5

Animated Harmonics 5 tab by ActionTab on guitar. So easy you'll be playing in minutes.

This exercise is from the Core Skills section on Harmonics.

By now you should be familiar enough with harmonics to start using them in your own music. So let's start playing some fun riffs and use harmonics with them!

In this exercise we start off by doing a rock riff by sliding down from the 11th fret into an Open E powerchord. Apply some palm muting to the powerchord then quickly place your 3rd finger over the 7th fretwire and pick down across the 3 harmonic notes as shown.

Loop the ActionTab and keep practicing with it. Once you can play along with it and get good clean harmonics, try stepping on the gas and playing along with the Normal Speed version.

These harmonic notes are: A - D - F#

Notice that the riff ends with a slightly different harmonic sequence. Those harmonic notes are: A - D - G. Although they are played in a different location only the last harmonic note is different.
