Animated Scarborough Fair tab by Simon & Garfunkel on guitar. So easy you'll be playing in minutes.

This is a very beautiful fingerpicking tune. It's Simon and Garfunkel's rendition of an old English folk ballad, dating back to the 1600's and possibly before.

The fingerpicking pattern is based around T32132 with some variations here and there.

You only need to learn up to the pull off / hammer part, as the whole thing repeats a few times just after that. So don't be put off by the length, it's not really very long at all. It just repeats a few times as the song passes through the verses. The guitar is the same each time round.

Break it down into small chunks and then work on each chunk in order. There are only a few chords in the song, so it's not too difficult to pick up. However, the speed and timing will take practice.
