Picking 15b

Animated Picking 15b tab by ActionTab on guitar. So easy you'll be playing in minutes.

This exercise is from the Core Skills section on Picking.

This time we play a similar chord 'progression' to the last exercise. The chords are G major, C major, and D major. Played in the following order:

G major, C major, D major, D major, C major, G major.

Notice that this time we play the full G major chord. This involves preparing the G on the High E string with your little finger (notice the prepare note X dot is used until that note is picked).

The picking and timing is more varied than of the last exercise. Varying how you pick across chords means you can get many different combinations and sounds from your music. It's a good idea to experiment with your own combinations (once you can switch between chords smoothly) to make your own music.

Don't forget to use the Light Strings option from the Settings Menu to help you see which strings are being picked.
