Korn

Korn (often stylized as Ko?n) is an American nu metal band from Bakersfield, California, formed in 1993. The current band line up includes four members: Jonathan Davis, James "Munky" Shaffer, Reginald "Fieldy" Arvizu, and Ray Luzier. Korn was originally formed by three of the members of the now-defunct band L.A.P.D., with the addition of two other people.

The band released their first demo album, Neidermeyer's Mind, in 1993. Their debut album, Korn was released in October 1994, where they featured the same musicians that had performed on Neidermeyer's Mind. The band began recording Life Is Peachy in April 1996, and released it in October 1996. Follow the Leader is recognized as Korn's mainstream breakthrough, peaking at number one on the Billboard 200 in August 1998, along with the following album, Issues, in November 1999. The band released Untouchables in June 2002, and later released Take a Look in the Mirror in November 2003. Their first compilation album, Greatest Hits Vol. 1, was released in October 2004, concluding Korn's contract with Epic and Immortal Records. They eventually signed to Virgin Records, releasing See You on the Other Side in December 2005, and an untitled album in July 2007. Korn's latest albums, Korn III: Remember Who You Are and The Path of Totality, were released via Roadrunner Records in July 2010 and December 2011, respectively.
