newbe needs some help

just joined,in need of some help navagating my way through this thing.i want 2 flip my fret borad 2 the left,when i do so my low e string is on the bottom. y can't i restring the fret borad 2 b the same as the way i play it. some help wood b awesome. :twisted:

Hi m8 just replying in forum too for others in case it helps...

When you flip the fretboard it puts you in first person view - so the ActionTab is like you holding the guitar. It's not the same as being an exact mirror image of the other way.

The default view is like watching somebody play a tune in front of you. The flipped view puts you in the shoes of the guitarist, so the strings are the right way for that - thickest string is closest to you and thinnest closer to the floor.
