Strumming 9

Animated Strumming 9 tab by ActionTab on guitar. So easy you'll be playing in minutes.

This exercise is from the Core Skills section on Strumming.

Here is another example of varying strums. The strumming style is easy, but quite different to anything we've done so far. Just one example of a myriad of strumming possibilities now open to you.

This exercise is more of a country style. We play an E major, downstrum just the lowest note of the chord and then downstroke the rest of the chord. Do this twice, then the third time downstroke the lowest note and downstroke the rest of the chord, but follow it with and upstroke.

Apply the same strumming rhythm for the next chords that appear in the ActionTab. Listen to the ActionTab until you know the music, then replicating it will be more natural for you.

The Chords here are E major, G major, E major.
