Speed Tech 33

Animated Speed Tech 33 tab by ActionTab on guitar. So easy you'll be playing in minutes.

This exercise is from the Core Skills section on developing Speed Techniques. As usual, check out the normal speed audio first.

A great way to practice is to come up with your own short licks, and repeat them. You will find that little repeating licks can sometimes become the best parts of a solo. They seem impossible at first, but it's always just a case of spending time on it. Go as slow as you need, and get the actions right. Get the timing regular. Then, start applying the speed!

Here's a little lick that uses all 4 fingers. We're using hammers / pull off combinations here, for fast legato speed.

The lick is played once, on it's own at the start. After a gap, just repeat it over and over until you get fast and consistent.

Next, we'll look at adapting the lick a little.
