Speed Tech 32

Animated Speed Tech 32 tab by ActionTab on guitar. So easy you'll be playing in minutes.

This exercise is from the Core Skills section on developing Speed Techniques. As usual, check out the normal speed audio first.

Here we take the same descending step pattern (used in the previous 3 exercises) and apply it to the D major scale.

This variation of the step pattern takes us down through 12 frets. It is much easier to play high up the neck, where the frets are smaller. Use the fingers shown here to work down across the strings. This one is a little trickier than the previous examples because you need to shift further distances as you descend across strings. Use the fingers indicated here and you'll find it will come together easier.
