Rock Game 2 Part One

Animated Rock Game 2 Part One tab by ActionTab on guitar. So easy you'll be playing in minutes.

Now you know the backing chords, let's start playing the scale game.

The rules for this game are as follows:

Learn the A natural minor scale in 2 positions.
Play the scales until you are very familiar with the note locations of the scale on the fretboard.
Play ONLY the notes from this A natural minor scale!
Notice that we only ascend through the high A minor scale (repeat 4 times). For the second lower scale we ascend and descend through the notes. Revert to the powerchord backing chords between the lower scale runs.

Use 'Tablature View' (under 'Tools' in the menu bar) if you need to see the notes mapped out.

We are using this ActionTab to learn the A natural minor scale in 2 common positions:

A Natural Minor Scale: A - B - C - D - E - F - G - A (Octave)

This is a very common scale, so is important to learn. Practice the 2 scales we show until your fingers just know where to go automatically. Practice over the backing chords to make sure you can do the scales all by yourself, then move on to the next part of the scale game - making melodies / creating solos!
