Pull Off 7

Animated Pull Off 7 tab by ActionTab on guitar. So easy you'll be playing in minutes.

This exercise is from the Core Skills section on Pull offs.

Here we apply a lovely fingerpicking pattern to a D sus4 / major chord, and shift the D chord shape up the fretboard. Note that the Bass note - the open D string is consistently played. This centres the chord progrssion in D, even though we move up through E, F and G by moving the rest of the D chord shape up through frets 4, 5 & 7.

Here we use the pull off on the high E string to add to the chord. The chords start as a sus4, but pull off to a standard major chord. Again, using pull offs in this way shows a simple but effective way to make the most of simple chord progressions! When ready try this out with other chords such as A major and E major.
