Prelude in C minor (Backing)

Animated Prelude in C minor (Backing) tab by J. S. Bach on guitar. So easy you'll be playing in minutes.

Shortly we're going to have some fun with an adaptation of J S Bach's Prelude in C minor. Before that, we should get familiar with the backing chords. Nothing fancy, just straightforward powerchords in the following order (8 strums each):

C5 - F5 - B5 - C5 - Eb5 - D5 - G5 - C5 - F5 - Bb5 - Eb5 - Ab5 - Bb5 - Eb5 - F5 - D5 - F5 - C5 - F5 - Gb5 - C5 - Gb5 - C5 - Ab5 - G5

Remember the wonderful thing about the E and A powerchord shapes is that the fingers stay in the same shape, leaving you free to shift between the different chord positions easily. Just concentrate on keeping a tight rhythm and playing along with the normal speed version once you can play through the slower ActionTab audio competently.

Next, we'll play out a metal version of Bach's Prelude in C minor. This will be an advanced effort, so only attempt it if your guitar skills are up to the challenge!

Remember you can always use this Backing music to experiment with your own melodies, riffs and solos. Don't feel this backing music will only work for Bach's Prelude!
