Pinch Harmonics 12

Animated Pinch Harmonics 12 tab by ActionTab on guitar. So easy you'll be playing in minutes.

This exercise is from the Core Skills section on Pinch Harmonics.

This is a fast metal riff using pinch harmonics. The first part of the riff is fast palm muting the low E5, open stabbing the F5, returning to the Low E5 again - then quickly moving your fingers up to the fretboard and applying pinch harmonics to a succession of notes that you can see in the ActionTab.

Notice that these notes are fretted using your 2nd and 3rd fingers. This is so that the vibrato at the end of the sequence can be quickly applied using your 1st finger. You can just use your 1st and 2nd fingers here, and drop down a fret for that vibrato. Either way is fine. Use what works best for you.

Also you will need to locate the right sweet spots for each note - remember that fretting different notes alters the locations of sweet spots slightly. And just to make things a little more interesting, there are different pinch harmonics applied for each note - so you'll need to do a bit of locating along the string to work out where they are (don't worry the sweet spots are close to each other)!
