Pinch Harmonics 11

Animated Pinch Harmonics 11 tab by ActionTab on guitar. So easy you'll be playing in minutes.

This exercise is from the Core Skills section on Pinch Harmonics.

Here we use Pinch Harmonics to make a simple melodic riff. This is a great ActionTab exercise for developing your pinch harmonic skills because you'll need to work on controlling both hands to get it right. Remember the sweet spots will change slightly as you move between note positions on the fretboard.

Notice the vibrato effect on the last note. Combining pinch harmonics with vibrato is a great way to get lasting high squeals and haunting notes. It is a common technique in many rock riffs and solos. We deal with Vibrato in the next Core Skills section, so don't worry for now if you are unsure about it. Just using a bend or holding the note will still sound good.
