Pinch Harmonic Rock

Animated Pinch Harmonic Rock tab by ActionTab on guitar. So easy you'll be playing in minutes.

This riff is from the Core Skills section on Pinch Harmonics.

This is a simple E pentatonic minor riff using that lovely pinch harmonic squeal again. To locate the high pinch harmonic here, you will need to play it far back along the string - fairly close to the bridge, approx 3-4 inches in, on most electric guitar setups.

Again, this little riff shows how to move between normal picking and throwing in pinch harmonics for punctuation. Notice that we come out of the pinch harmonic bend with a pull off to the open string behind. Do this as a single, fluid movement to keep accurate time. Doing exercises like this will keep your mind focused back on the fretboard, and encourage that pick to find the sweet spot almost unconsciously.
