Muting 10

Animated Muting 10 tab by ActionTab on guitar. So easy you'll be playing in minutes.

This exercise is from the Core Skills section on Muting.

Here we do another funky exercise. A little wah-wah and reverb is used for effect, but you don't need effects to play this riff.

Clasp your thumb and forefinger around the guitar neck so that all the strings are muted, and the tip of your forefinger frets the notes on the G string. Doing this means your thumb and forefinger will be at a shallow angle, which is best for positioning to mute the rest of the strings.

The rest of the exercise is pretty straightforward. Just be careful about which strings are fretted and which are muted. Practice and practice until you can play confidently and along with the Normal Speed version.

The occasional chord stabs along the top 3 strings are C minor and B minor again.
