Fingerpicking 5

Animated Fingerpicking 5 tab by ActionTab on guitar. So easy you'll be playing in minutes.

This exercise is from the Core Skills section on Fingerpicking.

In this exercise we shall fingerpick using another pattern whilst moving between chords. This time the pattern is T1213212. The two chords being fingerpicked here should be fairly easy to move between - A minor and C major.

Only one finger on the fretboard needs to change position. This should leave you more attention to spend on practicing getting the fingerpicking pattern right.

Again, listen to the music to get a feel for how it should sound. This will help you get a feel for this pattern, and the chords used.

Remember to play slowly at first and then work on building up speed. It is important to have a constant flow when fingerpicking like this. The fast normal speed audio is there to aim for (under Tools in the menu bar). Don't worry if you can't fingerpick that fast just yet. As long as you can play along with the slower ActionTab audio you should be set to move on to the next exercise. The speed will come over time with more practice and application of fingerpicking patterns.
