Finger Tapping L7

Animated Finger Tapping L7 tab by ActionTab on guitar. So easy you'll be playing in minutes.

This exercise is from the Core Skills section on Fingertapping.

In this exercise we go back to the B string. By now you should have fingers like iron and the speed of a jet plane, so now we need to add a little control. The B string is slightly harder to tap with than the E string because there are 2 adjacent strings, not just 1. This means you need to be a little more precise and careful as you play, not to sound out adjacent strings as your fingers hammer away like a runaway powertool.

Watch the introduction video again for tips on string control during tapping, that will help!

In this exercise we tap between the 12th and 11th frets with the tapping hand, whereas the fingers of your other hand consistently play the same 2 notes. Once you can do this with good, clean taps it is time to move on to the next set of exercises where things shall become a lot more busy on the fretboard!
