Finger Tapping L6

Animated Finger Tapping L6 tab by ActionTab on guitar. So easy you'll be playing in minutes.

This exercise is from the Core Skills section on Fingertapping.

So far we have tapped fast triplets across strings. Now we take a look at varying the triplets. What we do here is tap on the high E string again, but switch between 2 triplets.

Watch the ActionTab and you'll see that the first triplet is the same one we've grown to love from the previous 2 exercises - the A minor triplet:

Tap the E (12th fret) and pull off from the C (8th fret) to the A (5th fret).

Repeat this triplet 4 times and then we switch to a slightly different triplet...

Tap the D# (11th fret) and pull off from the B (7th fret) to the A (5th fret).

Repeat 4 times before reverting to the original triplet again.

With the previous exercises already well practiced this exercise should be relatively easy.

Once you can tap confidently, why not try making up your own triplets - experiment with different combinations of notes, and on different strings. This will not only help your technique but will improve your musical ear a great deal!
