a Tout le Monde (Guitar 2)

Animated a Tout le Monde (Guitar 2) tab by Megadeth on guitar. So easy you'll be playing in minutes.

This second guitar part is easier than the main guitar. That's because it doesn't play much of a lead guitar role. Instead it supports the main guitar, by playing backing chords during the melodies and solos. Apart from that it plays exactly the same riffs as we've already seen for the main guitar. That means it will still be tricky in places.

Many of the song riffs are repeated throughout the song, so here's a breakdown of just the parts you need to learn. Repeat them as needed.

Verse

Guitar 2 is silent during the clean guitar intro. However, it kicks in during the verse on full distortion and plays exactly the same riffs as the main guitar:

F#5 - double stops (palm muted) - A5 - muted strike - double hammer - 2 more double stops - Low E (palm muted) - F#5 - Low E (palm muted)

Repeat that sequence again until just after the muted strike. Then play B5 - double stop - B5 - muted strike - D5 (strum this chord repeatedly with downstrokes).

Melody Backing

While the lead guitar plays the melody line, Guitar 2 supports by simply playing single chords underneath:

A major - E5 - B5 - A5 - F#5 - A5 - B5 - C#5 - B5 - D sus2

2nd Verse

This guitar doesn't do much during the second verse except for some short powerchord slides.

Solo Backing

These are the chords played behind the solo:

A major - E5 - B5 - F#5 - G5 - G5 - A5 - G5 - F#5 - E5 - B5 - F#5 - G5 - G5 - A5 - G5 - Then progress to play a riff.

This riff is very similar to the verse riff, except up by 2 frets (and shorter). The starting chord is G#5.

Outro

During the outro the 2 guitars play a harmony (i.e. 2 different melodies together). Guitar 2 plays the lower melody and is - shown here.
